I find it funny that everyone says both the ACC and ND are using each other

And I agree with the statement for the most part. But ND is using the ACC more than the ACC is using ND. Having the ND brand only goes so far in olympic sports and you guys are decent in basketball, but I'd take UConn over ND in basketball and olympic sports any day of the week, because UConn's ego is less imposing and the Huskies are proven winners in MBB, WBB and olympic sports with a decent fanbase.

As for football, it's great that the ACC gets the "priviledge" to play ND 5 times per year, but it doesn't make me feel warm and fuzzy. I'd take WVU over ND based on football. WVU basketball is as good as ND BB at times, as well. Plus WVU actually isn't embarassed to play a school like VT. True, WVU isn't a brand and lies in a small state, but they have passionate fans and would likely commit 100% to the ACC if offered. But Swofford would never trade his beloved weekend trophy wife for a plain Jane woman in the mountains.

When this dysfunctional marriage ends in divorce, we'll all look back and figure this deal wasn't much better than the deal the Big East had. At least Swofford (or his replacement) will still have his stripper friend in Louisville.
